Most of Southern & East Africa experiences summer rainfall (Nov to Feb), often in the form of spectacular electric thunderstorms.
Days are usually warm & sunny throughout the year, but warm clothing is required for game drives, especially during winter.
Cape Town has a Mediterranean climate with winter rainfall (May-Sept).
